From an early age, we always laughed at the unusual products and flavours in Frederik's family home. His German parents' cupboards and pantry were filled with everything from kombucha and kimchi to products carrying biodynamic labels. This early exposure to natural foods and alternative ways of thinking about nutrition became an essential part of the idea behind Functional Future.

With a strong background in chemistry and anatomy, a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and nearly a decade of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance, Thomas has the expertise to develop products that challenge conventional methods and standards within the food industry.

Suddenly, there was an opportunity to challenge the status quo, help people facing the same questions and frustrations as Thomas, and appeal to a growing number of conscious consumers. The positive energy and feedback from everyone who uses our products have since become the driving force behind Functional Future—and we would not have come this far without it.
